Marlin Jumping Electric Blue 1.2m water jet cut

This is our Jumping Marlin 

Cut using a water jet from 1.2mm stainless steel. 
The design time to come up with this vertical style marlin took quite sometime. 

Considerable effort by Sam has been put into meticulously heating the eyes, fins, tail and top of the body to achieve the vibrant colours  Our technique for controlling colour application involves patience and using a very small flame to prevent the colour from bleeding into the rest of the fish. Years of practice have refined this technique. Initially, the gold colour appears, and with continued application of heat, it transitions into shades of blue, red, and purple. We strive to include the full range of colours on each fish. The combination of these elements with the silver colour of stainless steel has made this piece increasingly popular. It is designed to swim horizontally across your wall.

To enable us to keep the Electric blue you see on this piece, we do not apply a clear coat spray, this in-turn means it is best kept away from any moisture when & where hung.
