These fish have been airbrushed with Greens & yellows. A lot of work has gone into layering the 2 colours together. The patterns (scales) you see underneath are airbrushed on first in fluorescent white and come through really nice once the brighter colours are layered on top. The fish scales match the colouring quite nicely. This sculpture features some of the first fish we ever designed size of them is 140mm. They have quite a nice round body shape definitely a healthy looking fish! I believe in leaving the door wide open on interpretation of each fish species saying it’s all in the eye of the beholder which can ultimately vary from person to person.

This artwork is perfect for illuminating areas throughout the house and is a great way to add a touch of colour in any setting. It can be paired with a larger single fish to cover larger wall spaces.

Creating each fish involves a meticulous 15-step process, beginning with the use of premium 316 marine-grade stainless steel. Once the design is finalized, it is precisely cut with a laser cutter, followed by thorough cleaning of the front, back, and edges. Without revealing all our secrets, further steps include colouring, shaping and forming, placing the Paua/abalone shell eye, applying a clear coat spray, and assembling. This meticulous attention to detail ensures every piece is uniquely handcrafted meaning no two pieces are ever quite the same! Easy to install with a chain on the back and hung with a single screw. Easy to change the angle/direction of the school once mounted on your wall. Comes in its own box with mounting screw included along with Jiwa steel information for your convenience.
