Blue Vortex single rotation
BOOM 💥Â
Introducing our Sphere style Circular blue fish school.Â
“Blue Vortex “Â
This piece has been on the cards for a while and it feels great to have finally finished it!Â
Looks so good on our gallery wall.Â
Janine has airbrushed with blue across the majority of the body. Fluorescent white has been added under the top layer of blue to create the scale effect you can see. She has also added spots with a hand brush in different blue tones. This gives the fish that bit of added detail that really makes it POP 👌. From a distance the spots are the first detail that catches your eye, once you get up close and personal the scales take the stage. We get this effect by placing the the scale pattern under layers of the blue body paint. Greens & Yellows have been brought in to complete the aquatic feel, being added to the bottom fin and tail.Â
The outside fish are off away in the deep slowly raising at equal stages to come together at the surface with the top two into twined in a tight embrace. We have managed to shape the top two in a way that their tails are trailing back down to the bottom as to have the whole school connected across multiple ways. Paua shell eyes have been included, with the top two fish seeming to stare in a different way to the rest. As if to be owning the moment.Â
This piece is one to check out if you like things Symmetrical.Â
Quite a challenging piece to master but very rewarding once completed.Â
Creating each fish involves a meticulous 15-step process, beginning with the use of premium 316 marine-grade stainless steel. Once the design is finalized, it is precisely cut with a laser cutter, followed by thorough cleaning of the front, back, and edges. Without revealing all our secrets,  further steps include colouring, shaping and forming, placing the Paua/abalone shell eye, applying a clear coat spray, and assembling. This meticulous attention to detail ensures every piece is uniquely handcrafted meaning no two pieces are ever quite the same! Easy to install with a chain on the back and hung with a single screw. Easy to change the angle/direction of the school once mounted on your wall. Comes in its own box with mounting screw included along with Jiwa steel information for your convenience.Â
