Mullet/Sardine bait Ball heat treated in multi colours Large

One word DENSE.

We have used our large sardines on this piece. 

The individual fish size is 255mm.

We have created a tight looking school turning or folding around on itself, as they would in their natural form. The colours are achieved with different levels of heat. We use a small flame and lots of patience, this helps us with the control of applying the colour to exactly where we want it. It can be very easy for the colour to bleed out into the rest of the fish. We have used the darker form of our colouring range along the top of the body/fillet similar to the actual fish its self. Leaving the belly tail and fins shining silver were the scales can come into there own with great looking detail. Paua is included in the eye to add another totally different colour range and shine. The form of our sardine fish really gives this piece direction and flow, combined with the dense look (one of Sam’s favourites). Great as a large statement piece in any setting. Also goes great matched up with any of our single/predator fish range and is a good way to fill up any large wall or create a theme/wall of fish. All cut from 316 marine grade stainless steel and coated with lacquer . All pieces are very unique being all hand crafted no two schools are ever the same ……… Easy to install with a stainless chain on the back, also makes it easy to change the angle/direction of the school once mounted on your wall.
