Baitfish Shoal “hand painted blue & red”

We designed this fish with movement in mind, featuring a longer body shape that provides a sense of direction when placed in our school formations. Each fish is 140mm in length. A cut line detail marks the gill plate, allowing us to seamlessly integrate colour with the stainless steel silver body. They swim in a school that sit's horizontally across your wall. I believe in leaving the door wide open on interpretation of each fish species saying it’s all in the eye of the beholder which can ultimately vary from person to person. Considerable effort by Janine with a small hand brush has been put into meticulously painting Blue, white & red on the fins & eye to bring this piece to life. With The rest of their bodies left silver just like fish. 

 Creating each fish involves a meticulous 15-step process, beginning with the use of premium 316 marine-grade stainless steel. Once the design is finalized, it is precisely cut with a laser cutter, followed by thorough cleaning of the front, back, and edges. Without revealing all our secrets,  further steps include colouring, shaping and forming, placing the Paua/abalone shell eye, applying a clear coat spray, and assembling. This meticulous attention to detail ensures every piece is uniquely handcrafted meaning no two pieces are ever quite the same! Easy to install with a chain on the back which makes it Easy to change the angle/direction of the school once mounted on your wall.  Comes in its own box with mounting screw included along with Jiwa steel information for your convenience.
