Droplet kingi school.

Constructed using Our kingfish, this shaped school is rising from the deep, to its widest point in the middle then gently tailing to a single fish near the surface. 
 Moderately populated school which Allows You to see through the shoal, on to the backing plate that has been ground to look like water swirling, moving in and around  with the fish. It also creates depth and motion drawing your eyes in for a closer look.with the fish.

 Our “Kingis” are 290mm in size.

All cut from 316 marine grade stainless steel ground, rolled and heated to bring them to life. We use our darker colour range along the top of the body/fillet and the middle of the tail. Then the bottom 3 fins are coloured gold, this somehow seems to give the fish more depth to look at. The larger part of the body is left silver which lets the grinding flow come out on display. Colours are achieved with different levels of heat. We use a small flame and lots of patients , this helps us with the control of applying the colour to exactly where we want it. It can be very easy for the colour to bleed out into the rest of the fish.  All include paua shell pieces for eyes. This really adds another layer of colour and sparkle. This piece will cover any spot you have in mind to install on, Especially if you are wanting to fill your wall from top to bottom. All pieces are very unique being all hand crafted no two schools are ever the same ……… . Easy to install with a stainless chain on the back, also makes it easy to change the angle/direction of the school once mounted on your wall.
