Tuna- pilchard ball
Our first school combining a single predator fish up and close with some pilchards. Lots of time involved with bringing the colours to life on this piece. So many layers to fold together, matchup and balance. All Achieved with the airbrush using ghost tint & straight paints. When using the ghost tint paint, it allows you to see through the colour. The effect lying on the stainless is next level! You will be impressed with the details on the paint work. New mounting Strategy to involve/include the tuna on this piece, And his companion along side him.
We have ground the backing plate in a sweeping motion to flow with the fish, to look like the water flowing over-around-through-with the fish. It also creates depth and motion drawing your eyes in for a closer look. All cut from 316 marine grade stainless steel ground & rolled to bring them to life then coated with lacquer.
